Console air conditioners /floor air conditioners/
have several main advantages over high-wall air conditioners. First of all, it is optimal comfort and efficiency when operating in heating mode. Thanks to the two-sided air flow, warm air is blown lower into the room, thus warming the room faster and more evenly. Due to the installation method, they are also suitable for rooms with vaulted ceilings.
Another advantage is the heating of rooms with many levels and a large open space - in this case, the console air conditioner is installed on the lowest level and the warm air, due to its natural upward movement, sequentially heats the upper levels - faster and more economically than a high-wall air conditioner. Also, an advantage of the floor air conditioner is the easy cleaning of the filter and future prevention, since it is installed in an accessible place.
The lower an air conditioning system is installed, the more dust the filters will capture and, accordingly, the air in the room will be cleaner for the residents.
As a disadvantage of console air conditioners, it can be noted that they take up valuable floor space. However, modern models are significantly thinner and more compact, which makes them applicable to any interior design.
